If you’ve been in an accident and you cannot pay for the medications your doctor prescribes to treat your injuries, you can use the Healthmed card at any major pharmacy to fill your generic prescriptions without any payment. Until your case is settled, Healthmed covers all your accident-related medication costs.
-
To register for the Healthmed program, ask your personal injury attorney or medical provider to submit an enrollment form on your behalf. You will need to sign the lien and waiver portion of the form before it is emailed or faxed to Healthmed. Someone from Healthmed or your attorney will then notify you when your enrollment is successfully processed.
-
You will receive a copy of your card via email from your attorney or directly from Healthmed. A physical card will also be mailed to the address that you provided.
-
